The Adelaide Fringe Foundation
Adelaide Fringe is more than Australia’s biggest arts festival. It’s a place where emerging artists can make their start and where the arts is accessible to all.
The Adelaide Fringe Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Adelaide Fringe, where every dollar raised is used to help artists present their work, to buy tickets for disadvantaged communities and make Fringe experiences as welcoming and accessible as possible.
Help us be the most inclusive festival in the world.

Where your money goes
Adelaide Fringe is a national drawcard for our State and you can contribute to ensuring its longevity. You can make a one-off or ongoing donation, with funds going to initiatives including the Accessible Arts Fund, The Artist Fund and The Community Fund.
Accessible Arts Fund
Our aim is to make Adelaide Fringe as accessible and inclusive as possible. This funding supports accessibility initiatives including Auslan interpreters and audio description across the program, and increased services at registered Fringe venues.

The Artist Fund
The Artist Fund provides opportunities for emerging artists to create and present their work, by reducing the financial burden to artists in the early stages of their careers.
Of the 170 grants awarded to artists for the 2023 festival, 17% of shows self-identify as having cast and creatives that are First Nations, 39% are culturally and linguistically diverse, and 44% are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Find out about our 2023 recipients here.
The Community Fund
Supported by Lutheran Care
Through the Community Fund, Adelaide Fringe issues tickets to not-for-profit organisations, schools, charities and disadvantaged communities who would otherwise not be able to attend Fringe. Thanks to support from Lutheran Care, in 2023 Adelaide Fringe will be able to distribute more tickets than ever before to disadvantaged groups who might otherwise not be able to attend Fringe.
