Multiple Sessions Several Days
Welcome to Suburbia After Dark—a bold, raw, and interactive playground for the curious, the outspoken, and the slightly chaotic.
Running five times daily, each 60-minute session is a collision of immersive theatre, spoken word, street games, and unfiltered community confessions.
Part pop-up rave, part backyard truth-or-dare, Suburbia After Dark transforms public space into a pulse of real voices and real stories.
You won’t just watch—you’ll be invited to whisper secrets, throw down answers, or even remix the rules.
Expect surprise performances, unplanned moments, and plenty of reasons to laugh, cringe, or reflect.
Local legends, fringe dwellers, and rising talents share the mic—every session is different, and no one leaves unchanged.
Presented by: Groundloop Collective
Groundloop Collective is a fearless community arts group creating live experiences that thrive on participation, imperfection, and pulse. Founded in 2015, Groundloop’s mission is to bring people together through shared disruption—storytelling that blurs lines and breaks comfort zones.
Specialising in MA15+ and all-ages programming, their work fuses street performance, crowdplay, digital interaction, and lived-experience narratives to spotlight stories from the margins and middle grounds. No two events are ever the same, because the audience shapes the outcome.
